INTRODUCTION

Hi [Client first name], So, first off, how are you doing today—how’s it going?

[Let the client indicate how they feel, what’s going on, vent…]

I understand this process can be very [insert relevant adjective—difficult, challenging, unfair, emotional, etc.] I’m [your first name]--, and I will be your Restorify Partner. Basically, I will be a dedicated resource for you—someone you can call through this process to assist with requirements related with the MVD in AZ to restore your driving privileges.

I understand you just signed up with one of our Restorify network attorneys—[say attorney name assigned to client]. He is great—you are in great hands.

We know that the DUI journey is not an easy one, but as your Restorify Partner, I’m here to help. In Arizona, the DUI journey has two separate but simultaneous processes. One is judicial—handled entirely with the courts—Your attorney, [insert first name of attorney again], will be all on top of that with you. I will not be involved in that process However, there is also an administrative process with the AZ MVD—I’ll be helping you with that process. Any questions about that?

[Allow consumer to respond / react / ask questions] Remember, along the way, you can reach out to me with any questions you have along your DUI journey, but, any legal questions relating to your case and the judicial process must be handled by your attorney—every DUI journey is different and subject to different circumstances specific to your case and decisions made by only you with the counsel of your attorney.

So, in that regard, have you made any decisions with regards to your preliminary hearing with your attorney? Have you requested one yet?

[Let the offender say what they know about that, if a hearing has been requested, or assigned, if discussed with attorney, has the hearing window already passed]?

OPTION 1: IF HEARING WINDOW HAS PASSED ALREADY OR NO HEARING IS REQUESTED, follow this script:

Okay, since you have either 1) missed your hearing window or 2) Elected not to request a hearing, we can move on with some of your required next steps, per the AZ MVD

SKIP TO the END for different script here—it’s ALL in red text.

OPTION 2: IF HEARING WINDOW HAS NOT YET PASSED, follow this script:

Great, so our next touchpoint will be after the outcome of that hearing is known, but for now, I just want to let you know I’m here for you; Restorify will be emailing you only what you need, as you need it, along your journey.

In terms of expectations, From me, you can expect support along the way for your administrative MVD process, including guidance with MVD forms, Securing an IID if needed, an SR22 if needed, Connecting with other relevant vendors or services if needed, such as alcohol education, screening, or treatment.

From you, I will need you to keep us updated and be responsive—check all your emails and take action as needed. Our next 1:1 after your hearing will have much more detail on the process and next steps. It’s important for you to keep an eye out for important communication and as your status changes, update me.

From your attorney, again, all elements of your criminal proceedings will be handled solely with counsel from your attorney. I will not be involved.

Last, I’m going to send you a client onboarding document which outlines what we discussed in more detail, plus it includes some other general information on the AZ process and average fees associated with DUIs.

Please take your time to review it carefully. If you do have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.. I’m going to give you my extension—this is the way to reach me at any time during our hours [give your extension]. Call 1-833-202-3424, and then dial my extension after prompted by the greeting. I’m here and ready to help—M-F, 6AM – 6PM (AZ / PT), Sat 7-3PM (AZ/PT)

Remember, our next 1:1 will be after your hearing decision.  Please keep an eye out for those emails and provide an update once your hearing date has been scheduled.

Any other questions or anything else I can help you with?

[let customer talk/ ask]
